“Bursa Textile Show” Fair Has Opened Its Doors

The ‘Bursa Textile Show’ Fair, which will strengthen exports in the textile industry under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BSTO), has opened its doors for the first time. The fair, which will last for 3 days, will be attended by nearly 350 business people from 50 countries within the scope of UR-GE (International Competitiveness Development) and Commercial Safari projects. BSTO continues its export attack that will bring the industry alive in Bursa, the textile capital of Turkey. The fair, organized with the support of UTİB (Uludağ Textile Exporters' Association), will host its visitors at Merinos AKKM (Ataturk Congress Cultural Center) until November 16. Bsto Board Chairman İbrahim Burkay, who spoke at the opening ceremony of the fair, stated that they have organized 4 separate purchasing delegation programs within the scope of the Textile ICD (International Competitiveness Development) Project so far. Foreign business people from distant countries such as Colombia, India, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Brazil and Canada and also EU countries, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are attending the fair. The fair, where Bursa companies held over 5 thousand business meetings with nearly 350 foreign buyers from 50 countries, paved the way for the formation of important cooperations.

Bursa Textile Show, organized by BSTO and brought together the leading players of the industry in Bursa, got full marks from exhibitors and foreign visitors in its first year. At the fair, where more than 80 companies opened booths and exhibited their 2019-20 fall/winter fabric collections, Bursa's high-quality products, which determine the trend and fashion, attracted considerable attention from visitors.
